'Are you useful?' - Barack Obama, Senator of the United States of America
Pretty interesting show today on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Hey, it's a good show to watch ok! So this senator said this and got me thinking. I admired his servant attitude in dedicating his life in bringing out the best for the people. Really inspiring. He mentioned about the idea living not only for yourself, but take moments to think about the people around. What do they lack? What difference can you make in their life? Money doesn't drive this world around, it's love (I believe). It's the care and thoughts for someone else that drive this world round and round. So that same person can spread the same care and thoughts for someone else. Things are moving fast, sometimes I feel I do neglect people around me. But also I feel, there are people who expect too much of me, as if I'm superman or a guru that can understand all things. Sorry, I can't satisfy everybody. Something I learn in life. So move on with it!
Also Obama's mum said: 'If you do something wrong to a person, put yourself in the person's shoes. How would you feel?' This immediately got me thinking, What Would Jesus Do. Think about it
Sis is coming next week. I actually need to beg some money from her, I'm broke...
I just found a new band for my music-crave, The Kooks. Very nice music here! Interesting way of singing as well. And very nice guitar riffs I must say. Indie and not so jarring and confusing. :)
Tomorrow is Christine and Rudy's wedding. Expect cool actions! WOO HOO! Really happy for them!
Happy birthday Donovan and Dominic! The two brothers who are exactly 1 year old difference. How cool! :)
